Agra: City of Architectures

Well! Touring is always very entertaining to me, whatever place it may be provided that my company has wander lust as much as I have. and when it comes to Agra, I have a single word to say and that's "Marvellous" A must visit place if you are a lover of Mughal Art. Its true that each location has a message and every tour has an element of entertainment, education and of course fun. However, there are certain locations that stand apart for the sheer excellence they have to offer in terms of natural beauty or man made wonders. Agra is one such place and if you are willing to go to Agra this year’s vacation, take some time to go through the places to visit in Agra that you are not supposed to miss on your tour to Agra.
1.Taj Mahal
Very obviously, if its Agra, my list will start from The Taj, a Symbolism for true Love. Taj was built by Sha Jahn a Mughal emperor in the memory of his Queen Mumtaj. Now Tomb of both King and Queen are made in the Taj. Presently Taj is considered one in the Seven Wonders of world. I think its enough to convince you about beauty of Taj.
2. Agra Fort

Again an excellent example of Mughal Architecture, Agra Fort was built in 16th centuary. I am very sure that If you miss Agra fort, you are going to regret about it later. Also known as Red Fort or Laal Kila, is situated near the Gardens of Taj. The Mughal Emperor Sha Jhan Spent his last days in Agra Fort as an Prisoner as kept by his own son Aurangjeb. The scenery of Taj from Agra Fort multiplies in beautry anfd thrill of visiting to Agra Fort.
3. Fatehpur Sikari
Built to give tributes to a Sufi Saint, Mughal Emporer Akbar built Fatehpuir Sikari in 16 Centuary. its a perfect example of Mixture of Indian, Persian and Mughal Art. Art Lovers must visit this place once .
4.Itmad-Ud-Dulah
A Signal of new era in the field of Mughal Architecture, India’s first tomb to be made completely out of marble, Itmad-Ud-Daulah . Until then, all buildings were made of red sandstone. It was constructed during Jahangir’s tenure. The 21-meter high tomb was constructed in memory of Mirza Ghiyas, father-in-law of Jahangir. He was honoured with the title Itmad-Ud-Daula, which means pillar of the state. Influence of Islamic architecture style, the monument’s towers has a Persian touch.
